The intent of intellectuals, often in the form of opinion, makes an impression along with impact on certain decisions. They keep track of all ongoing situations as set of data points. For them, 'no use' kind of situation/information is of no 'no use'. In statistical analysis, one can throw any kind of conclusion, depending on what kind of analysis one is doing. It's hard to distinguish between right or wrong - as it can represented in a different way (not right/wrong way).
